Hudson Springs Park Wildflower Meadow
The Hudson Park Board is considering a proposal to convert a one-acre lawn area to a wildflower meadow in Hudson Springs Park. The dog run in this area is located about a half mile from the parking lot. The goal is to create and implement a management plan that will allow for natural/native site restoration, biological remedies, and species diversity enhancements. This will result in a dynamic, truly “natural” park. View the slide presentation here: Hudson Springs Park: Imagine the Natural Possibilities.
What’s Your Opinion?
Do you and your dog use this dog run? Is there a place in Hudson that should be considered for a dog park? The wildflower meadow is being proposed in partnership with the Friends of Hudson Parks and would help to increase the diversity of birds and insects in the park.
