Project Description
The goal of the Downtown Pedestrian Safety Study is to review, analyze, and develop recommended improvements to increase pedestrian safety along travel ways and crossings in the study areas (see Safety Study Area Map) within the public right of way. The consultant has suggested recommended improvements to this specific study area (see Downtown Pedestrian Safety Feasibility Study).
Note that the corridor along SR 303 between Boston Mills Road and SR 91 was studied separately by the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) and recommendations from that study are not included here. For more information on that study, go to SR 303 ODOT Safety Study.

Share Will they be adding a sidewalk to the north side of East Streetsboro St, between Bradley and Roslyn or N. Hayden? It is very much needed, and I have seen children walking home from school, walking through the snow, in peoples yards because of a lack of sidewalk on that side of the street. Not to mention that people living where there is no sidewalk, have to cross a very busy road to even get to a sidewalk. This is very dangerous. on FacebookShare Will they be adding a sidewalk to the north side of East Streetsboro St, between Bradley and Roslyn or N. Hayden? Thank you for your question and comment. The request for the installation of new sidewalk along the north side of E. Streetsboro Street between Bradley Drive and Roslyn Blvd and/or N. Hayden Parkway will be included and evaluated in the Downtown Pedestrian Safety Study’s updated, final report.
Share Hello, I have two comments (I will not be able to attend the 3/16 meeting):
First, I love the idea of the proposed 'PEDESTRIAN DISTRICT'.
Comment: I would like to propose the city consider - prioritizing side walks on both sides of the roads within the district, to minimize need to cross the roads.
